Description

Become a Certified Sleep Counsellor for Children and Young People

Who can apply

Sleep Counselling training is designed for experienced health and social care professionals supporting children and young people with additional support needs and their families. Whatever your role, if you work directly with children, young people and their families where sleep is a concern, this training will enhance the care you provide.

Becoming a Sleep Counsellor is an additional qualification that complements your existing role, giving you the tools to support others more effectively through better sleep. Better sleep benefits entire families and can ease pressure on your service and others.

Please note: This course is not suitable for private practitioners.

Accreditation

Sleep Counselling for Children and Young People is accredited at SCQF Level 7 with 4 credit points. This accreditation ensures the programme meets the high standards set by the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF).

Through this qualification, you’ll be strengthening your professional expertise while making a meaningful difference in supporting children and young people with additional support needs to improve their sleep.

Certification is dependent on satisfactory completion of your first Sleep Counselling case and submission within three months of the course end date. Ongoing support is provided to all of our Sleep Counsellors.
