Description
Become a Sleep Advisor
Who can apply
Sleep Awareness is designed for professionals who work day-to-day with families and caregivers of typically developing children. This training is also suitable for practitioners working directly with young people under the age of 18, with no additional support needs. It’s a practical, supportive way to build your confidence in sleep advice and make a meaningful difference to the lives of the young people you support.
Sleep Advisors support families and young people directly without the need to refer them elsewhere. This ensures continuity of care, reduces the risk of disengagement, and reduces pressures on other services by saving time and resources.
Due to the role Sleep Advisors typically hold within health and social care, and their existing relationships, families feel supported by someone they already trust.
Expert-led training
Our training is grounded in the latest research, built on evidence-based practice, and tried and tested for over 27 years. Every strategy we share is endorsed by experienced practitioners who continue to use them because they see real results.
The reason for this is simple: We teach Sleep Advisors to tailor interventions by meeting each individual's unique needs and circumstances.
We are proud of the impact our training makes:
- 100% of participants report being satisfied with the training
- 94% say their knowledge and understanding of sleep has improved
- 91% feel more confident supporting families with sleep
Training materials
After completing Sleep Awareness training, you’ll receive a resource pack filled with helpful tools, including sleep diaries, assessment forms, and other useful information to support your work as a Sleep Advisor. Materials are distributed via email.
Course fees
Our comprehensive, expert-led training programs are fee-based. The cost listed above covers the full training package and any assessment or qualification fees for one attendee. Typically, training is employer-funded as organisations recognise the value of this knowledge in their wider support services.
